On 31 October 2025, the Founding Meeting of the Association for Promoting Sustainable Agriculture and Environment Conservation (APSAEC) was officially convened at the Research & Training Center of the Central Front for National Construction (CFNC), Vientiane Capital.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Thongchanh Lansy, on behalf of the Mobilization Committees of APSAEC.

     We were honored by the active participation of representatives from National Central Party Committee (NCPC), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE), Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES), Central Lao Youth Union (CLYU), Lao Labor Federation (LLF) and Panzhou Volunteer Federation (PVF). These esteemed guests joined us as partners in shaping APSAEC’s future.

     Key agenda items presented and discussed included: 

1) The Official Agreement for convening APSAEC Founding Meeting 

2) APSAEC Organization Profile 

3) APSAEC Draft Regulations 

4) APSAEC 5-Year Strategic Plan (2025-2029) 

     Participants provided thoughtful and constructive feedback on each item, ensuring a meaningful and inclusive finalization process.

     The meeting concluded with the announcement of APSAEC’s newly elected Board Members and Inspection Committees consisting of five board member committees and three inspection committees. This marks a pivotal step in our organizational development.

      Held over half a day, the session achieved its objectives and laid a strong foundation for future collaboration.

     On behalf of the newly elected APSAEC Board Members, we extend heartfelt thanks to all representatives from line ministries and relevant government agencies for their valuable time and insightful contributions. A special thank you to the Panzhou Volunteer Federation for their generous financial support, which made this important event possible and impactful.
